Questions related to Cross-Layer
I am trying to develop a priority-aware, energy efficient cross-layer algorithm for improving the power efficiency in Cognitive Radio Wireless Sensor Networks. I installed NS-2, version 2.35 with NSG-2.
Can anyone assist me with a sample code for doing this? If NS-2 cannot do this, what is the best alternative?

Stratifications planes superposées singulières et équation d'Euler 2D à temps grand Article Oct 1998 Philippe Serfati (rct 21-8-17: rg link to my other paper "Stratifications superposées singulières. analyse harmonique. commutateurs et équation d'Euler sur Rn", for its abstract2017, paper still missing)=
Abstract: We continue [19] (:Stratifications superposées singulières. analyse harmonique. commutateurs et équation d'Euler sur Rn) on short time existences in Rn, n > or = 2. We solve at large time the 2D Euler equation for data which are regular out of N intersecting regular curves and which are continuous on their non-tangential intersections. The analysis for long time existence uses some new objects, properties, techniques and tools: considering that the tangent vectors Y are more regular than the curl and gradient of the speed because the Y are continuous on all intersections, we split them and their evolution locally on two parts, one discontinuous strongly non-linear but small (because of tangential contacts or continuity on non-tangential ones which is expressed the natural compact formula (4): smallness property on tangent and non-tangent contacts) and the other continuous almost-linear. We obtain a 2x2 low-triangular almost-linear splitting system which separates their specified and incompatible treatments. The first equation is then integrable and the second one regularizes discontinuous objects into continuous ones. This last property diagonalizes the system and assures its integration and the conclusion. -- in particular we treat general 2d t-global discontinuous (superposed) vortex patches on (many) cusps and/or on corners but with VPs continuous on the points of the corners.

** Scope**
IEEE WCNC is the only IEEE conference focused exclusively on wireless research, technology, and applications. It brings together thought leaders from industry, academia, government agencies and other institutions to exchange information and ideas on advancing the state-of-the-art in wireless communications and networking. The conference will feature a comprehensive technical program with technical tracks on various aspects related to wireless research, technology, applications and services, including emerging technologies. In addition, the conference program includes workshops, tutorials, and panel discussions on today’s state-of-the-art as well as what the wireless future will look like, including an industry-oriented program and exhibition hall.
Paper submissions are invited in the following Tracks:
Track 1: PHY and Fundamentals
Track 2: MAC and Cross-Layer Design

Dear Editors
I know of the past work by Professor Ohira and so this project immediately attracted my attention. What will the book be focussed on? Will it be only the physical antenna design? Will it include any networking aspects? Cross-layer features?
In terms of the contributions, will you be the Authors of the full content, or will you be Editors of the book and invite external contributions? If the latter, would you be interested in contributions? We have worked on a switched parasitic array design and developed and tested two low-power prototypes, and were able to transmit network packets directing them on per-packet basis, and achieved 2-3 improvements in the network throughput and latency in a mesh network. Would something like this be of interest?
Best regards
Albert

Wireless Sensor Network Security
There is a philosophical question: from engineering point of view, it is always better to have modular system with minimal connections between modules. I don't mention advantages of modular approach - let consider it as statement. The same time to achieve some additional gain and flexibility of the system, many developers (especially more mathematicians rather engineers) are looking for something called Cross-Layer Optimization, which is required more and more links between modules that moves from modular architecture to unified one: and all modularity is emulated as slices on software level. How do we can to merge these two contradictionary approaches into one, and do we need to do it ?
