My new article explores how Scandinavian startups are blending agile management with branding—but beneath the surface, something deeper is happening.
Agile branding promises speed, adaptability, and co-creation. Yet Scandinavian identity is rooted in stability, consensus, and cultural coherence. Are we seeing the rise of a new Nordic branding ethos—or are startups heading toward an identity crisis masked by innovation hype?
Can agility and cultural integrity truly coexist?
Is branding still about storytelling, or has it become iterative code?
Are Scandinavian founders losing their cultural edge in pursuit of global relevance?
We interviewed 20 founders. The results surprised us.

From the beginning of the industrial revolution and the description of the functioning of enterprises in the conditions of market structures, in the trend of classical economics, three types of production factors dominated in the production processes defined by three slogans: land, labor, capital.
However, successively with the development of industry and technological progress in the 20th century, other categories of production factors, typical for economies largely based on information, are added to these classic factors of production.
These factors of production, whose role in many industries has been growing since the 1960s include: knowledge, information, technology and innovation.
In view of the above, the current question is: In what branches of industry such production factors as knowledge, information, technology and innovation are currently or become the most important?

This research investigates how Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) can leverage machine learning and data analytics to improve their decision-making processes, optimize resource allocation, and enhance their social impact. NGOs often work with limited resources, and their success is highly dependent on how efficiently they can allocate these resources to achieve their goals. By adopting machine learning algorithms, NGOs can analyze large datasets, including demographic, financial, and operational data, to identify patterns, forecast outcomes, and make more informed decisions.
Data analytics can help NGOs assess the effectiveness of their programs, track progress in real-time, and measure their social impact in ways that were previously difficult or impossible. For instance, machine learning models can predict the potential success of various initiatives, identify underserved communities, and improve the targeting of interventions. Additionally, by employing predictive analytics, NGOs can proactively allocate resources where they are most needed, ensuring that funds, manpower, and materials are directed toward high-impact areas.

Can the use of technological innovations in social policy (e.g. e-government, digital platforms for social benefits) contribute to reducing social inequalities or will it rather deepen existing inequalities?
The question concerns the role of technological innovation in social policy, especially in the context of social benefits and administrative solutions. Innovations such as e-government can improve access to social services, but they can also contribute to the exclusion of less affluent people who have limited access to technology.
The research I am conducting shows that technological innovations in social policy have the potential to reduce social inequalities, provided that they are properly adapted to the needs of all social groups and that access to technology is equal for all citizens. The application of technological innovations in social policy can introduce a number of benefits, such as simplifying administrative processes, reducing waiting times for benefits or reducing administrative costs. However, for people in difficult financial situations without access to the Internet or modern devices, such solutions can become a barrier. Therefore, it is important that the implementation of new technologies in social policy takes place in parallel with efforts to ensure universal access to these technologies. Innovation can both mitigate and exacerbate social inequalities, depending on how it is designed and implemented.

To what extent does the increasing importance of digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, bring new risks such as cybercrime, disinformation and manipulation of public opinion? How should the development of digital technology applications, including artificial intelligence, be managed in order to significantly reduce the scale of misinformation on online social media and other threats and risks arising from this development?
The results of many studies confirm the thesis that the modern world, dominated by digital technologies, brings not only progress and facilitation, but also new, unprecedented threats. Cybercrime, disinformation and public opinion manipulation are problems that affect an increasing number of people and institutions, undermining trust in technology and weakening democratic processes. Cybercrime, including hacking, data theft and online fraud, poses a serious threat to the security of both individuals and organisations. Disinformation, the deliberate spread of false information, aims to mislead the public and achieve specific goals. The manipulation of public opinion, often using disinformation and other psychological techniques, is used to influence people's attitudes and behaviour. A successful solution to these problems requires a comprehensive approach, including strengthening cybersecurity, combating disinformation, educating people on the safe use of digital technologies, including artificial intelligence technologies, and international cooperation. Research plays an important role in solving these problems by providing the knowledge and analysis necessary to develop effective strategies. In recent years, the importance of digital technologies, including artificial intelligence and other Industry 4.0/5.0 technologies, has increased, with both positive aspects, development opportunities and negative effects, threats and new risks. The development of artificial intelligence applications also brings new risks, such as cybercrime, disinformation and manipulation of public opinion. This raises the following question: How should the development of digital applications, including artificial intelligence, be managed in order to significantly reduce the generation of disinformation on online social media and limit the scale of other threats and risks arising from this development?

Does the increased importance of digital technologies in recent years, including the development of artificial intelligence applications, carry the risk of an increase in the scale of cybercrime, such as data theft, hacking attacks and disinformation? How can these serious problems be counteracted?
Despite the many benefits, digital technologies, including artificial intelligence technologies, carry the risk of cybercrime, which is a global challenge. Cybercrime, including data theft, hacking and disinformation, threatens individuals and organisations, undermining trust in technology and generating financial losses. Data theft is unauthorised access to confidential information. Hackers, often organised crime groups, aim to take control of computer systems. Disinformation, spread through social media, serves to manipulate public opinion. Cybercrime, due to its cross-border nature, requires international cooperation in prosecuting perpetrators and harmonising regulations. Effective counteraction to cybercrime requires strengthening cybersecurity, international cooperation and education in the safe use of digital technologies. Research plays an important role in solving the problem of cybercrime by helping to understand the motivations of cybercriminals and develop effective defence strategies.

In large corporations characterized by a complex, multi-level organizational structure, the flow of information can be difficult. New ICT and Industry 4.0 information technologies are proving to be helpful in this regard, improving the efficiency of the flow of information flowing between departments and divisions in the corporation. One of the Industry 4.0 technologies that has recently found various new applications is artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence technology is finding many new applications in recent years. The implementation of artificial intelligence, machine learning and other Industry 4.0 technologies into various business fields of companies, enterprises and financial institutions is associated with the increase in digitization and automation of processes carried out in business entities. These rules protect individuals' privacy and regulate how organizations handle sensitive personal information.
According to the rules, any unauthorized sharing, disclosure, or misuse of sensitive personal data or information can have legal consequences. The punishment for sharing clinical data, private data, or personal details in violation of the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, can include:
- Civil Liabilities: Individuals or organizations found guilty of violating the rules may be subject to civil liabilities, including payment of damages or compensation to the affected parties.
- Criminal Liabilities: In serious breaches, criminal liabilities may be imposed on those responsible. This can include imprisonment or fines, depending on the severity of the offence.
It's important to note that penalties and consequences may vary depending on the nature and extent of the data breach and any applicable laws or regulations related to data protection and privacy.

What are the applications of digital twins in conjunction with artificial intelligence, Big Data Analytics and other Industry 4.0 technologies in creating simulations of digital models of complex macroprocesses?
The technology of digital twins is used, among other things, to simulate production, logistics processes in business entities, i.e. in the microeconomic field. The creation of digital twins for specific economic and financial processes carried out in economic entities supports the management of these entities. Computer simulations of e.g. production processes, offering of services, supply and procurement logistics, distribution logistics, marketing communication with customers, etc. save time and money, as possible errors in decisions generate much smaller negative effects if they are realised not within the framework of real processes and a kind of experimentation on a functioning enterprise, company, corporation, institution, etc., but within the framework of computer simulation. but within the framework of a computer simulation in which various alternative variants of the development of the economic and financial situation of a company are considered and compared with each other as forecasts of specific processes defined for the following days, weeks, months, quarters or years. Therefore, since the pandemic, many companies and enterprises in Poland have been investing in the creation of IT systems equipped with digital twin technologies, within which it is possible to create multi-criteria, multi-faceted, complex simulation models of specific economic and other processes realised within the company, and/or simulation of processes realised at the level of the company's relations with the environment, with business partners, customers, cooperators, etc.
On the other hand, the possibilities of creating simulations for macroprocesses, i.e. e.g. macroeconomic processes, natural processes, technological processes, geological processes, social processes, long-term climate change, cosmological processes, etc., through the use of digital twin technologies and also other Industry 4.0 technologies, including learning machines, deep learning, artificial intelligence, analytics carried out on Big Data Analytics platforms, are a matter of debate. Year on year, due to technological advances in ICT, including the use of new generations of microprocessors characterised by ever-increasing computing power, the possibilities for increasingly efficient, multi-criteria processing of large collections of data and information are growing. Artificial intelligence can be particularly useful in the field of selective and precise search for specific, defined types of information and data extracted from many selected types of websites and real-time transfer and processing of these data in database systems organised in cloud computing on Big Data Analytics platforms, which would be accessed by a system managing a built and updated model of a specific macro-process using digital twin technologies.
In view of the above, I address the following question to the esteemed community of scientists and researchers:

In the not-too-distant future, will it be possible to merge human consciousness with a computer, or to transfer human consciousness and knowledge to a computer system equipped with sufficiently highly advanced artificial intelligence?
This kind of vision involving the transfer of the consciousness and knowledge of a specific human being to a computer system equipped with a suitably highly advanced artificial intelligence was depicted in a science fiction film titled "Transcendence" (starring Jonny Deep) It has been reported that research work is underway at one of Elon Musk's technology companies to create an intelligent computerized system that can communicate with the human brain in a way that is far more technologically advanced than current standards. The goal is to create an intelligent computerized system, equipped with a new generation of artificial intelligence technology so that it will be possible to transfer a copy of human knowledge and consciousness contained in the brain of a specific person according to a concept similar to that depicted in a science fiction film titled "Transcendence." In considering the possible future feasibility of such concepts concerning the transfer of human consciousness and knowledge to an information system equipped with advanced artificial intelligence, the paraphilosophical question of extending the life of a human being whose consciousness functions in a suitably advanced intelligent information system is taken into account, while the human being from whom this consciousness originated previously died. And even if this were possible in the future, how should this issue be defined in terms of the ethics of science, the essence of humanity, etc.? On the other hand, research and research-implementation work is already underway in many technology companies' laboratories to create a system of non-verbal communication, where certain messages are transmitted from a human to a computer without the use of a keyboard, etc., only through systems that read people's minds, for example. through systems that recognize specific messages formulated non-verbally in the form of thoughts only and a computer system equipped with electrical impulse and brain wave sensors specially created for this purpose would read human thoughts and transmit the information thus read, i.e., messages to the artificial intelligence system. This kind of solution will probably soon be available, as it does not require as advanced artificial intelligence technology as would be required for a suitably intelligent information system into which the consciousness and knowledge of a specific human person could be uploaded. Ethical considerations arise for the realization of this kind of transfer and perhaps through it the creation of artificial consciousness.

There has been an extraordinary spurt in tech stocks. Though they have the best growth potential, however they also have very high risk to return ratios. From Amazon.com, Inc to Advanced Micro Devices Inc, Broadcom Inc, Uber Technologies, Inc, Visa Inc, Tesla, Inc (USA), TCS, Infosys (India), Weibo Corp (China), Wisetech Global, Atlassian (Australia), they all live up to the reputation as a tech stock. So my question is on finding a suitable metric only to evaluate tech stocks since there are many ways' of evaluating including Price Earnings Ratio, Internal Rate of Return Method, Free Cash Flow Model, Sales Multiple or a combo of these with something else?.
Will green cryptocurrencies be created with which new, pro-environmental and pro-climate, green economic ventures will be financed?
Is this a purely futurological vision or is it already feasible?
Green cryptocurrencies should be developed according to new eco-innovative technologies, so that their creation, digging will use much less electricity than today. Currently, digging cryptocurrencies still uses as much energy as a medium-sized country on a global scale. The issue of saving electricity consumption is particularly relevant in the context of the current energy crisis and, in the future, also in the context of a multi-year developing climate crisis. In my opinion, it is not a question of faith but a lack of knowledge confirmed by scientific research. It is strange, however, that in the 21st century, in the face of the facts widely confirmed in the media, confirmed in many aspects scientifically, on the basis of experiments carried out, space expeditions are still people who ignore this widely available knowledge in the media and create their unjustified theories.
No wonder that even a few centuries ago and before, i.e. in a situation of widespread illiteracy and lack of universal access to knowledge and information, in the absence of media it was easy to maintain, promote anachronistic and illogical theories to implement a specific information policy for the needs of maintaining absolute power, which one of the attributes was access to knowledge and information deliberately restricted for a large part of society, and in some epochs, such as, for example, in the Middle Ages, deliberately limited research possibilities and deliberately placed barriers to the development of science. In such realities, totalitarianisms are easily formed and it is easy to carry out indoctrination of the society by propagating even illogical, unjustified ideologies that are not supported by any scientific research.
Therefore, nowadays access to knowledge and results of scientific research should be universal and unlimited. A large positive role in this matter is played by the Internet and Internet portals such as the Research Gate portal.

Righteousness and Justice are common buzzwords often used interchangeably that we use in the present data-driven world and without knowing what exactly it mean. The current world has Courts of Justice as part of the legal system. As many or most use the said terms inappropriately and in a meaningless way, and being even the most bright scholars and pundits have only vague ideas about it, let us have a discussion about "What is Righteousness? and how it differ from Justice?", to bring out the real meaning of "Righteousness" and to bring about a righteous society.
The findings indicated that these schools should have electronic contents for all courses, high speed networks, Internet lines, computers, printers and other related equipments to become complete smart schools. The framework provided a set of guidelines in terms of smart school components in a structured way, which can assist the Ministry of Education and top-level policy makers to improve current activities of toward smart schools .
Besides, the research also contributes towards the expansion of theory and knowledge of smart school which could benefit to other developing countries

The involvement of Internet information technologies, new media for the development of international contacts between scientists improves the logistics of information flow, but does not ensure success in this international cooperation. Online new information media are just a tool that can be used in a variety of ways. Even if Internet technologies of new media are effectively used and advanced information processing technologies are developed, ie typical of the current Industry 4.0 technological revolution, it is still not possible to eliminate all negative aspects, threats and risks resulting from the growing involvement of new online news media to information activities, marketing, research, business and other.
For example, it is not possible to completely eliminate the risk of information transfer on the Internet, including information frauds and deliberate manipulation of information posted on internet information portals and social media portals, information transfer via e-mail etc. carried out by hackers and cybercriminals that break into IT systems of institutions public, financial and business, intercepting and stealing information, making financial embezzlement after hacking into online banking systems.
The most important determinant of the development of international contacts between scientists and researchers are people, their needs in establishing and developing international research teams, including the awareness of the possibility of creating added value, understanding and respect for other cultures and systems of the organization, the need for internationalization of previously determined locally and nationally developed research topics, etc.
On the other hand, social media portals operate as part of the development of new online media. Some information and / or social media portals enable communication between scientists and offer specific information services profiled on scientific issues, research, etc. One of such websites is the Research Gate portal.

Of course, the right data is important for scientific research. However, in the present era of digitalization of various categories of information and creating various libraries, databases, constantly expanding large data sets stored in database systems, data warehouses and Big Data database systems, it is important to develop techniques and tools for filtering large data sets in those databases data to filter out of terabytes of data only information that is currently needed for the purpose of conducted scientific research in a given field of knowledge, for the purposes of obtaining answers to a given research question and for business needs, eg after connecting these databases to Business Intelligence analytical platforms. In the period March-May 2020, in many countries due to the development of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic causing Covid-19 disease, a significant part of didactic processes have been converted into e-learning form. Therefore, there is now a rapid increase in the use of ICT, Internet technologies and certain Industry 4.0 technologies in the application of teaching processes in a remote form via the Internet. Due to the SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus pandemic, in order to limit the development of the pandemic, full-time teaching activities at schools and colleges have now been suspended and replaced by e-learning in many countries. Due to the suspension of stationary didactic classes in schools and colleges, classes are conducted remotely, through various new online media through specific forms of e-learning. The growing importance and development of e-learning is also correlated with the current acceleration of the digitization processes of the economy.
Therefore, teachers are looking for answers to the following research questions:
- How will the current state of the SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus pandemic affect learning outcomes?
- To what extent can modern ICT information technologies implemented in the teaching processes effectively replace traditional, stationary teaching processes?
- How long can schools and universities last for only in e-learning form?
- To what extent the use of ICT, Internet and Industry 4.0 information technologies for teaching processes enabled continuation of education during the SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus pandemic?
- What are currently used applications and e-learning platforms through which online real-time teaching classes are conducted remotely via the Internet? ZOOM, Google Meet, Microsoft Teems, ... or other?
The purpose of answering these questions will be continued research for many months, i.e. also after the SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus pandemic has expired, because a similar pandemic cannot be ruled out in the future. Therefore, the above questions should be answered and education systems better prepared for such an eventuality.

In recent years, advanced information processing technologies in the cloud and in Big Data database systems have been intensively developed, in which large sets of data collected from specific websites are collected.

An interesting thing is the algorithm according to which specific search results appear in a Google search engine based on a given password.

Covid-19 is overwhelming some countries in terms of infections and casualties. It is an unfortunate situation that shows no end. In some countries the problem is compounded due to incompetent of the governments in managing the crises and by politicizing the pandemic for personal gain.

On the basis of the development of the new technological solutions in recent years, dynamically developing processes of innovatively organized analyzes of large information sets stored in Big Data database systems and computing cloud computing for applications in such areas as: machine learning, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence are dynamically developing, Business Intelligence. Added to this are additional areas of application of advanced technologies for the analysis of large data sets such as Medical Intelligence, Life Science, Green Energy, etc. Processing and multi-criteria analysis of large data sets in Big Data database systems is made according to the V4 concept, ie Volume (meaning number of data), Value (large values of specific parameters of the analyzed information), Velocity (high speed of new information appearing) and Variety (high variety of information).
The advanced information processing and analysis technologies mentioned above are used more and more often for marketing purposes of various business entities that advertise their offer on the Internet or analyze the needs in this area reported by other entities, including companies, corporations, financial and public institutions. More and more commercial business entities and financial institutions conduct marketing activities on the Internet, including on social media portals.
The abovementioned information and communication technologies combined with the improvement of ICT techniques and the implementation of Business Intelligence analytics to the processes of economic and financial, economic, macroeconomic and market analyzes may be instrumental to efficient and effective management of economic, investment and enterprises processes, including analyzes carried out for the purpose of improving marketing activities in enterprises.
More and more companies, banks and other entities need to conduct multi-criteria analyzes on large data sets downloaded from the Internet describing the markets on which they operate, as well as contractors and clients with whom they cooperate. On the other hand, there are already specialized technology companies that offer this type of analytical services, develop customized reports that are the result of multicriteria analyzes of large data sets obtained from various websites and from entries and comments on social media portals.

Online technology companies that run social media portals such as Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp, Tweeter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google+, Snapchat, etc. collect large amounts of data about Internet users from various websites, including mainly users of these social media portals.
Google Group collects this type of information about Internet users based on the Google web search service and other shared information services, including Google Drive, Gmail, etc.
Information on Internet users is collected, among others, by the so-called cookies installed in Internet browsers.
In addition, large Internet technology companies have the ability to combine information downloaded from various Internet sources, from various information services into one avatar, which is an electronic equivalent of a given Internet user and is built from Big Data database systems.
For the needs of these considerations, the issue of the security of classified data stored in Big Data database systems run by Internet technology companies managing social media portals should be added.
There have been frequent thefts made by cybercriminals who, from these Big Data systems, stole classified and sensitive information about hundreds of thousands or millions of users of particular social media portals.
The development of social media portals therefore generates an increased risk of theft of data on users of social media portals.
On the other hand, technological internet companies such as Google, Facebook, etc. have the ability to obtain classified, sensitive and personal information from the Internet about the users of websites, including search engines and social media portals, who use these information services.
These companies in their Big Data database systems are gradually expanding the scope of data related to Internet users and are constantly expanding the avatars mentioned above, ie electronic equivalents of individual Internet users.
Therefore, the colloquial wording was created: "If you are not on the Internet, you do not exist."
There is one more issue, namely the above-mentioned activity of Internet technology companies expanding their information resources Big Data and orz contained in these resources avatars of individual Internet users, how does this correlate with the legal protection of personal data in individual countries?

In reading various articles and in even discussions with consultants, the terms Cyber Security and Information Security are used interchangeably and sometimes the former seems to be taking over the latter. I want to share my thoughts on this and to show how there can be a distinction between Cyber Risks and Information Security Risks and also show how these two risks can be defined.
Cyber Risks
All risks that affects the organization’s Information Systems such as breaches, IT related threats (Ransomware, virus, malware, etc.). This requires that the relevant People, Process & Technology are in place to predict, prevent, detect and respond against cyber threats.
Information Security (IS) Risks
With IS Risk the focus is on the tenets of Information Security, these are the controls which are to be designed in all IT solutions prior to go live:
Confidentiality – Controls in place to mitigate against the unauthorized disclosure of information.
Integrity – Controls in place to mitigate against the unauthorized modification of information.
Availability – Controls in place to mitigate against downtime of Information Systems, such as Denial Of Service attacks.
So Cyber Risks would relate more to the daily IT related activities of an organization and the Information Security Risks would be the controls that are baked in to IT solutions during the development phase.
It concerns the reforms of the higher education system in many countries.
