What is Progress 2025?

Elections declare collective priorities. Considering Project 2025’s explicit intent to reshape the federal government and decimate civil and human rights, this moment calls for an equally bold response that centers human and planetary needs—and uplifts the solutions that make them possible. YES! has been reporting on these solutions for nearly 30 years. That’s why we’ve launched Progress 2025 to be a hub for big ideas—and grassroots efforts—that offers a collective vision for our democracy.

Project 2025 embraces carceral models that embolden racist policing. Progress 2025 envisions replacing police with community-based crisis responders and reparations for racism.

Project 2025 wants to dismantle voting rights and increase disinformation. Progress 2025 would lower the voting age, reform campaign contributions, and increase voting accessibility.
