Protests Across California Target Trump–Musk Assault on the Public

In recent weeks, a coalition of advocacy organizations in California have come together to protest the impact of the pro-billionaire budgeting decisions happening in Washington, D.C. 

As part of a “Hands Off Healthcare” series of actions across California, activists targeted Elon Musk’s SpaceX program as well as Tesla showrooms in multiple cities, including San Diego and San Jose. 

João Paulo (JP) Connolly is organizing director at Working Partnerships USA and a member of We Are California. He spoke with YES! Senior Editor Sonali Kolhatkar on YES! Presents: Rising Up With Sonali about the importance of these California protests.
