SPORTS
Because of an editing error, an article on Tuesday about an N.B.A. player’s adjustment to living in Minnesota and playing for the Timberwolves after they acquired him in a trade with the New York Knicks misspelled his surname in some instances. He is Julius Randle, not Randall.
ARTS
An art review on Friday about two Lu Yang exhibits in New York attributed an erroneous distinction to Lu Yang’s current exhibition at the Museum of the Moving Image. It is not his first in an American museum.
An article on Tuesday about New York City Ballet’s fashion gala omitted the first name of a dancer with that company. The dancer is Taylor Stanley.
OBITUARIES
An obituary on Sept. 21 about Jack Daniels, a two-time Olympic medalist in the modern pentathlon and an exercise physiologist, misstated the given name of Daniels’ father. He was Ronald Daniels, not Robert (though he was known informally as Bob).
An Overlooked obituary on Monday about Violeta Parra, the Chilean singer and composer, misstated the English translation of the title of Parra’s song “El Gavilán.” It is “The Sparrowhawk,” not “The Sparrow.”
