Outdoor Space

Where do you like to spend time outside where you live?

Does your town or city have many spaces where people can play, gather or rest outside? Do you spend time in those places?

Perhaps there’s a local park where you host barbecues with your extended family; a basketball court or soccer field where you play pickup games with your friends; a skate park you visit every day after school; or a community pool where you go to cool off in the summer.

Tell us about a memory from one of your favorite outdoor spaces, and what that place means to you.

Then read the related article about New York City’s green spaces and why, in a city where millions of people are crammed together, they’re essential.
