Introduction
Object detection in optical remote sensing images is to determine if a given satellite image contains one or more objects belonging to the class of interest. It is important to locate the position of each detected object in the image. The term ‘object’ refers to its generalized form, including manmade objects (e.g. ships, vehicles, buildings, etc.) that have independent of background environment.
