KRFC Fall Membership Drive

The Fall Membership Drive is scheduled for September 29th through October 7th.

The Fall Membership Drive will celebrate KRFC’s steadfast commitment to environmental sustainability. New premiums include 100% organic cotton long sleeve t-shirts, and with an additional pledge of $25, you can help KRFC become completely wind powered.

KRFC needs to raise a total of $42,000 to keep the great programming you love coming your way every day. Please help us make the drive a success by continuing your commitment to great radio through membership. Thanks to our early donors, we raised over $3500 by September 28th, so the Membership Drive will end one day early.

Thank you in advance for your contribution to the Fall Membership Drive. With your renewed support, the sky’s the limit for KRFC--literally!

Hear the promos from some of your favorite KRFC DJs: Ted Hill, Andrea Bradstreet, Diane Montgomery, and Lyle Allen.

KRFC Seeks Board of Directors Nominations

Every year, three members of the KRFC Board of Directors must be elected. This year there is one vacancy to be filled and two current board members are seeking re-election. If you or someone that you know would be interested in serving KRFC as a board member, please apply to be a part of this important and exciting group. Applications for nominations are due at KRFC by 5pm on Monday, October 16.

Board member responsibilities include:

  • Building community connections
  • Assisting with fundraising efforts
  • Charting the long range vision of KRFC
  • Formulating and overseeing the KRFC budget
  • Formulating and overseeing station policies and procedures

Board members are asked to make a three year commitment. Nominees with previous experience in non-profits, community radio or volunteer boards are desired.

The KRFC nominating committee will review applications for nominees in late October. The nominating committee will recommend a slate of candidates to the board of directors at their November meeting and the general membership will vote on the slate at the Annual meeting in early December.
