About the Denver Musicians Association
General Information
Established in 1897, the Denver Musicians Association is Denver's premier organization serving the public with well-experienced, high quality professional musicians in the Rocky Mountain Region. Its members include musicians, composers, arrangers and singers from a variety of styles and groups ranging from folk singles, duos, and jazz & rock combos to the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.
In addition to musical artists for live performances, many members are equipped and qualified to provide services for recording (i.e., film, video, advertising) for business and industry. The DMA has national ties through its affiliation with the American Federation of Musicians (AFM) as Local 20-623, and is a member of the AFL-CIO. Visit Labor Resources for a full list of the DMA's labor affliations.
