Meetup is hiring an iOS Engineer to work on a platform that helps tens of million of people worldwide meetup. We are headquartered in the heart of Manhattan, and on any given day there are roughly 450 Meetups happening in NYC alone, giving our members the opportunity to seek new experiences, build friendships, and expand their networks.
Meetup is already wildly successful in the U.S. and is expanding to take on the world. We have a robust pipeline of new features to build, and we need your help!
As an iOS Engineer, you could be working on:
The transition to Swift and iOS 8
Meetup’s first universal app
Tools for Meetup organizers
Continuity across all platforms
Improving user experience for RSVPing and paying for Meetups
New features to help members talk to each other online and off
What we’re looking for:
A history of shipping great apps, and a portfolio to prove it
Excellent knowledge of Apple’s Core Data framework
UIKit experience, including VC Transitions, Auto Layout, and Interface Builder
Background in automation testing in any language
Computer Science or related degree preferred.
