Join us in a relaxed environment to play some cello ensemble music together. We'll have a good mixture of beginners to advanced cellists.
10:30 AM - 11:00 AM Food, Drinks & Social. For members who would like to eat some snacks and meet other members, or warm up, before playing. This is not required. Members can simply show up at the scheduled play-in time.
11:00 AM - 1:30 PM Cello Choir. Time is flexible and you may stay longer or leave earlier depending on your schedule. We will take a break midway through the play-in, and members are free to leave during break time if you have other commitments and cannot stay for the entire 2 hour play-in.
This meeting will be for all levels, whether advanced or playing in a group for the first time, and will be led by an experienced cello teacher. We will work on playing and practicing together, dynamics and speed, and having fun!

To prepare for this meeting:
1. Print out your copy of the music. Music and audios will be posted by the first weekend of the month. If you have any issues accessing the music, please feel free to send us an email. To view music, please do the following:
-Go to our main website and select the Member Logins tab
-Select the Red Lock under the Monthly Playin Login
-Enter the password
2. If you have not attended one of our play-ins before, please also read http://www.bouldercelloproject.com/play-in.html for more information on what to expect at a play-in for yourself and others.
3. Please tune your A to 441. We will also tune before the play-in. If you're not sure about tuning, don't worry about it. We'll be happy to help when you arrive.
4. Please bring your music stand. Don't forget to bring a music stand if you have one (we have extras available as well) and please label your stand. We will be playing 'musical chairs' so players sit next to cellists playing their part.
We look forward to playing with everyone!

It has been over four decades since I played with a group and read music. This is my first play in.

Sorry I have to cancel out tomorrow. I have to go up to CSU to see my son. I am going to try to get to the next meet ups but unfortunately I am going to have to beg out of the concert. My relocation to California is going to take place on December 5th. Very bittersweet as there is no BCP where I am headed.

Hi, I tried to access the monthly music tab with the password I was given and can not find the music for November 8th. Has the password changed?
thanks,
Vicki

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.

Excellent. I enjoyed working on parts more than just playing through a piece. I enjoyed hearing all the other cellos.
