Adult cello players looking to meet like-minded adult (18 or older) cellists to play cello music together (e.g. cello choir, ensemble music, etc.) and to learn more about technique, musicality and group playing. The idea is to create a fun, non-competitive group for cellists to meet, play (practice), learn and perform cello ensemble music together.  We believe there are a lot of folks out there who would appreciate having a place to meet like minded folks, and play fun music in a supportive environment.

No audition required to join - we just want friendly folks who want to play with other cellists! Abilities can range from beginners (can read music) to more advanced players who are willing to help your fellow community of cellists grow! :)

We will have local cello teachers volunteer their time to facilitate some of our play-ins to ensure that we continue to grow, learn and have fun! Commitment is valued over virtuosity.

Annual Membership Fee $35.00

There has been concern with ensuring that the project can be sustained long term, so members can continue to enjoy play-ins. Therefore, we have recently implemented an Annual Membership Fee of $35.00. Membership fees will be used towards operating costs such as website fees, printing, supplies, food, etc.

3-Steps to become a BCP Member

Step 1:

• Sign up to our Meetup group, but selecting the Join Us! button on this website: http://www.meetup.com/Boulder-Cello-Project
• You will need to answer a few questions regarding your cello experience and abilities. All experience levels and abilities are welcome. This information helps us plan for our play-ins and events.

Step 2:

• Pay the the annual membership fee online, or send us a check. Once we receive your payment and notification from our Meetup site, we will approve your membership.

Step 3:

• You will receive a welcome email with passwords to login to our play-in websites. These websites will contain additional information, such as the music to download for the play-ins, our location, previous play-in information and other information regarding the project.
