Piano and cello.
1st and 4th are most comfortable for me, but I'm learning thumb position, too. I take lessons on a weekly(ish) basis. Most recently, I've been playing Telemann canonic duets; the last solo piece I was working on (and need to get back to) is the Brahms sonata #1 (opus 38).
I play duets decently frequently. I've played with an amateur chamber ensemble.
I'd like to get better at tuning by ear.
Realistically, 3. I live a little over an hour from Boulder, so though I'd like to go more frequently, that may not be possible, depending on what day of the week the meetups are scheduled.
I started cello in December 2007 when I wanted to get back to playing music after a long hiatus, but I didn't think I could fit a piano in the house. I'd always loved listening to cello, but had never touched one. I took a lesson and got hooked!
