Opening Play-Ins

Playin.Bodo07DSC_0128‘Play-Ins’ are fun group events where the Suzuki repertoire is played together from memory while lead by a teacher with piano or chamber orchestra accompaniment.  It is exciting for the younger students to hear the more advanced students, and for the advanced students to experience the rewards of keeping their review pieces current.  These ‘play ins’ are not concerts but informal play-together experiences, so bring your camera and enjoy the music!

‘Play-Ins’ for all instruments except bass and harp will be in the plaza area, immediately following the orientation session that begins at 4 pm in the Vilar Performing Arts Center on Monday of each session.  Bring your instruments with you to orientation so that you can go directly to your play-in!  The harp and bass play-ins are at The Charter Condos so you don’t need to bring your instruments to the orientation if you are staying nearer to The Charter.
