This class is appropriate for students who have begun playing an instrument but cannot perform all of the twinkle variations without assistance and without stopping.
This ‘music readiness’ class emphasizes age appropriate music rhythm, melody, and movement skills that build on each child’s natural enthusiasm for music. These basic musical skills are needed to enjoy participation in school and social musical activities as well as encourage formal study of a musical instrument.
Classes will be grouped based on the ages of final registration and combining various ages of children allows for mentoring. On the student application form, under ‘instrument’ be sure to select ‘Music Readiness’ as the student’s instrument. The music readiness class meets one hour each morning.
Tuition is $180.00
Each student in this Music Readiness program needs a parent or caregiver to attend class each day.
