Your Compossing Process?

March 11, 2016, 7:36 AM · Okay. The title says it. I believe I have found composing for the piano or even the piccollo much more easier than I find composing for the Violin. Its not a comfortable fact for me... And Im sure there are lots of others out there: Here I am playing high difficulty(I do reportoirre) pieces and I still find it easier to compose on the piano on which I cant tell the C key from the F# key-its the black thing right? Can anyone here help me out on composing for the violin. For the piano one can easily guide themselves through a melody by extracting a harmony from a desired chord progression. Why is this so much more harder? Again, Im assuming that that is the composition process for the violin. It probably is'nt-I hope. So could everyone here explain to me how you compose for the violin. That is: what is the step by step route to taking a violin notation score from a blank sheet to a elegant, fine jumble of notes that will sound good.
