For parents who are (or aspire to be) more laid-back than helicopter, more sane than sanitizing, this is a very relaxed group of parents of kids of all ages. We hope to facilitate play time and fun events for the kids as well as support for the parents who struggle to keep a casual approach to parenting in our very high-pressure area (hello, PRESCHOOL admissions process?!). We will have a mix of kid-friendly and grown-up-only events, which will mainly take place in the Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill, Carroll Gardens, and Brooklyn Heights in Brooklyn. though parents from all over the New York area are welcome to join us. Meetups will likely take place in evenings and on weekends. 


Group Rules

We want to create a supportive environment for parents. That means we will always strive to treat each other and any kids present at any Meetups with kindness and respect. Since our particular goal is to encourage an easy-going spirit, please hold back on sharing parental criticisms and critiques. Come to events with an open mind.

Out of respect for the organizers and other members of the group, please honor your RSVP. If something comes up and you cannot make a Meetup which you have said you will attend, make every effort to update your RSVP or send a note to the organizer to let them know.
