Department of Enrollment Services Students whose first semester of enrollment at Southern Miss will be the fall semester should register to attend orientation.
Students will sign in for orientation in the Hardy Hall Admissions Office before going on to the Hardy Hall Ballroom for the general session and small group sessions at 9 a.m.
Following the general session, students will be guided to their individual colleges for advisement and registration. Once complete, students will be directed to the Office of Financial Aid (Hardy Hall 230), then the Business Office (Hardy Hall 231), and finally Hardy Hall 232 where their student IDs will be made.
Orientation check-out will be in the Hardy Hall Admissions Office.
Students are then directed to sign up for other campus services in the Hardy Hall Eagle Plaza:
- Email Activation
- Vehicle Registration
- Eagle Dining
- Gulf Coast Library Services
- Senior Honors
- Health Center
- Fitness Center
The final stop is at Barnes & Noble Southern Miss to purchase textbooks. Textbooks will be available for fall semester beginning August 15, 2016.
Classes begin August 24, 2016.
