I invite you to visit my shop, Acoustic Artisans, at our new location, 594 Congress Street, Portland, Maine, in the historic Hay Building. Built 6 years after Maine became a state in 1820, this building has been a landmark in the city ever since.
With natural light from a dozen windows, it’s an incredible place to be working. There is ample studio space and large gallery that is perfect for music performance and sessions.
We have launched a new website for Acoustic Artisans, featuring upcoming concerts, workshops, and art exhibitions. Learn more about our upcoming events and buy your tickets online at acousticartisans.com.
I’ve known Jon Cooper for thirty years. During that time he has become one of my absolute favorite violinmakers. Every instrument he makes has its own unique look and feel about it. Because he’s a musician, he truly knows how to make each instrument’s voice pure and strong. It’s no wonder that so many accomplished musicians are playing his violins!
