SPHERE IN THE COMMUNITY
Sphere Ensemble is dedicated to bridging the perceived divide between Classical and other genres of music. As Duke Ellington said, “If it sounds good, it is good.” Through outreach concerts and education programs, Sphere Ensemble takes the music out of the concert hall and into daily life, connecting with audiences where they live, work, learn, and play.
Sphere brought music into CU’s Center for Community in the middle of a busy lunch hour, playing Canon Reel for students and faculty.
Sphere uses dynamic and original musical arrangements to bring arts exposure, arts education, and arts engagement together with Sphere’s unique creative process to teach the power shared leadership, collaboration, and communication.

The Creations Concert
Composing a piece of music is hard enough, but what if you never get to hear what it sounds like? Through the Creations Concert, Broomfield area music students have the opportunity to hear their personal compositions performed by professional musicians, including Sphere Ensemble. The students’ works, ranging from simple melodies to complete pieces, are fully realized by arrangers and presented in a full concert, creating an original artistic experience for all participants. Thank you to the Broomfield Foundation for your generous support of the Creations Concert.
