Minimum age is 18
Maximum age is 34 (27 for string players)

• Pre-Screening Recording applications due October 17, 2016

Vocal Piano, Collaborative Piano

• Live Audition applications due October 17, 2016

Strings, Winds, Brass, Percussion

• Live Audition applications due January 17, 2017
• Video Upload Audition applications due February 7, 2017

Solo Piano, Harp

• Video Upload Audition applications due February 7, 2017

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

VOICE PROGRAM

• Pre-Screening Recording Round followed by an Invitation-Only Live Audition Round. Applicants will be notified by November 1 if they have advanced to the Live Round.
• Repertoire requirements listed here
• Pre-Screening Recording Round requires audio OR audio/video audition files uploaded within the online application

VOCAL PIANO PROGRAM

• Live Audition required
• Repertoire requirements listed here

COLLABORATIVE PIANO PROGRAM

• Live Audition required
• Repertoire requirements listed here

STRINGS, WINDS, BRASS & PERCUSSION PROGRAMS

• Live Audition OR Video Upload Audition
   *equal consideration granted to both audition methods
• Live Audition applicants: indicate preferred audition city/date within application. Live auditions are granted in the order that applications are received. Some audition dates may fill prior to the application deadline, so early applications are encouraged. Review audition schedule prior to submitting an application to verify if your preferred date is still available. Live audition appointments will be communicated by email following the application deadline. Live auditions are filmed by Academy administration for later review by Academy faculty/adjudicators. Faculty are present on select dates to observe live auditions.
• Video Upload Audition applicants: upload one continuous, unedited audition video within the online application (upload one video, not separate tracks; do not stop the camera between repertoire selections). Videos must be unaccompanied. For best video upload speed, we recomend the following internet browsers: Chrome, Safari and Firefox (the most updated versions of each). SOLO PIANO & HARP

• Video Audition Uploads ONLY (no live auditions). For help creating your audition video, watch the following tutorial: Recording Tutorial Video
• Videos may be uploaded to the online application as separate tracks for each repertoire selection.
• See repertoire requirements within the studio list below. Failure to comply with audition repertoire requirements may disqualify your application.
