2016-17 Season Overview

For our 2016-17 season, the Boulder Phil will highlight musical pairings—artists coming together to create moving and memorable experiences. We’re celebrating one of our favorite pairings, 10 years with Music Director Michael Butterman leading our talented Phil musicians! The season holds much to discover. Enjoy the dynamic duo of pianists, Anderson & Roe. Internationally-renowned violinist Edward Dusinberre and violist Geraldine Walther of Takács Quartet. Husband-and-wife team Jennifer Frautschi, violin, and Eric Ruske, horn. Concertmaster Charles Wetherbee and guitarist Nicolò Spera. The return of Frequent Flyers® Aerial Dance, soaring above the orchestra. All of this, plus a featured performance at the Kennedy Center, a pair of world premieres, the Nutcracker Ballet, "A Wicked Good Christmas" with Broadway star Dee Roscioli, ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro, and so much more!
